I-phone cover The Juggler
The work, oil on wood, year 2006, is a tribute to the great historical friend Patch
Adams, the American doctor known for clown therapy who, having fallen in love with the
Mirkò's ceramic exhibited in a gallery in Amalfi during his visit to Italy,
convinced that art has a healing power and can stop suffering,
deeply impressed by the vibrant strength of Mirkò's work, he selected
immediately two ceramic vases to include in his collection of objects
of art to use as therapeutic tools for his hospital patients.
The painting, in the artist's typical style, represents the Juggler who gives care
and of love surrounded by as many figures broken down into a myriad of colors and looks
summarize the everlasting thought of the doctor expressed in one of his recent letters
to the Vietri artist: "Relax, you are alive and you are not alone".
